TAXI as in Taxi Driver and the red platforms worn by Jodie Foster ♥️

TAXI is inspired by the New York of the disco era, but also by 90s, when I was a teenager, when the 70s came back in force and marked my taste forever.

When I was 17, knowing my obsession for shoes and more particularly for platforms, my mother's cousin, who was 1m54 tall, gave me 3 pairs of platform sandals, very high and treasured since the real years 70: one of the most beautiful gifts received in my entire life! There was a pair in white patent, one in gold lamé and a completely psychedelic last one… I wore them proudly from 17 to 19 years old and then kept them in my turn preciously. They are still part of my collection.

Nomasei TAXIs are not that high because I have no over 17, that times have changed, that I no longer want or wish for any woman to have to wear 15cm platforms to feel strong or hot. On the other hand, they are tall enough to wow, have a low enough arch and are stable enough to wear all day or night without pain or loss of balance - unless you've been drinking!…
