Inspired by the minimalist aesthetic of the late ’90s—the era when I was studying design in Paris—and its sexy-chic icons likeCarolyn Bessette, Kate Moss, and Uma Thurman and more. Its name comes from the film Gattaca, released in France in 1998,which perfectly captures the sleek elegance of that aesthetic.

Here, it’s all about delicate details and technical precision: thesoftened pointed toe, the thin straps anchored in an embracing base, the graphic interplay of negative and positive space, andthe refined heel—delicate in appearance but ultra-stable thanks to the fusion of dance shoe engineering and luxurious Italian craftsmanship.
