THE NOMASEI FAMILY - Episode 11
Vanessa Bergonzoli, award-winning documentary filmmaker who promotes cross-cultural awareness in her everyday practice, wears Nomasei in her daily life and answers our questions.
- What’s your job ? "I am an international, multicultural, documentary filmmaker. I am also a (relatively new) Mom and raising good human beings feels like an important job at the moment."
- What’s your mantra ? "Amor vincit omnia” Latin for "love conquers all." Not just in a romantic sense, though there’s room for that too. Love is a powerful force, hardwired into our biology. We all have access to it, but to experience its magic in everyday life, we must first believe in others as well as in ourselves.
- Your best trick to fight stress ? "Speak less and listen more. This helps me cut through both external and internal noise to find what I truly need. Reconnecting with friends also works wonders."
- How do you feel in your Nomasei ? "Like a queen. Powerful, confident, sensual, professional. Ready to take on anything ! In THEOFFICE pumps, I can push a stroller through the park just as easily as I can walk the red carpet."
- What’s your happy place ? "My bed ! It’s an oasis that never fails me."
- Your styling tip ? "Documentarians typically work in non-glamorous settings, tackling real-life challenges behind the scenes. But no matter how remote the location I’m shooting in, I always pack a nice dress and a pair of beautiful shoes—ideally by Nomasei. The power of transformation comes in handy."
The NOMASEI FAMILY are strong women, women who inspire us. They are friends, customers or strangers who wear Nomasei in their daily lives.
