KHAKI CAPSULE COLLECTION
Introducing the new Khaki-Cloud capsule collection, inspired by The Man from Rio and Tropical Modernism.
1964, The Man from Rio: Jean-Paul Belmondo travels through a Brazil in the midst of a whirlwind of change, from the beaches of Rio to the construction sites of Brasília, a brand-new city rising from the jungle.
This energy is evident in the film’s color palette: the tropical green, transformed into khaki by the film stock, contrasts with the white and gray silhouettes of Oscar Niemeyer’s buildings, still under construction.

This capsule collection draws inspiration from that unlikely encounter—the world of Tropical Modernism, where concrete hugs the curves of nature, and where the architecture of the future sprouts right in the middle of the forest.
Khaki, like an explorer’s uniform. The cloud, like the sky reflected on the rooftops of Brasília. Both, printed on film from the 1960s.

Two colors, one shared vision: that of a new world waiting to be created.
I hope you enjoy this collection as much as we do!
Love,
Paule
